Candolim beach is located in the northern part of Goa. It is among the popular beaches of the state but is known to be relatively peaceful, compared to the more noisy beaches of north Goa. Located on the west coast of India facing the Arabian Sea, the Candolim beach offers nature lovers, vacationers, and honeymooners an excellent opportunity to be amidst tranquil surroundings and a calm sea. The beach is located about 15 kilometers from Panjim. The beaches nearest to the Candolim beach are Senquirim, Calangute and Baga, all of which form the same stretch of coastline.

The Aguada fort
This fort was built in 1612 by the Portuguese and served for a long time before being abandoned. It is a popular tourist place and is visited by a large number of tourists. It is also a popular shooting spot for Indian movies.
